Producer/writer Bill Robinson has worked closely with Diane Keaton over the past eleven years and founded their production company, Blue Relief, where he serves as President.

During that time, he has been involved in such successful productions as The First Wives Club, Unstrung Heroes, and Hanging Up. In addition to Elephant, Robinson Executive Produced the upcoming cable film, On Thin Ice (airing November 2003).

Under Robinson, Blue Relief has become one of the most active star-driven production companies, with over two dozen motion picture and television projects in development. In television, Robinson executive produced the critically acclaimed Fox series Pasadena, as well as Crossed Over, with Jennifer Jason Leigh for CBS, and Northern Lights for Disney.

Other cable projects include The F Word (with Whoopi Goldberg and Linda Ellerbee, written by Diane English), and The Emmett Till Story for Showtime.

Mr. Robinson is currently writing Semester at Sea for New Line Cinema and Dispensing With the Truth for Showtime. Disney purchased his original screenplay Young Americans (based on his job in the U.S. Senate). Recently, HBO optioned his book, It’s All Your Fault: Adventures of the Hollywood Assistant, which was published by Simon & Schuster in 2001.
